 LocationAmanusa is well sited for starting or ending a tour of Bali as it is only 25 minutes south of Denpasar International Airport. It is also an ideal base to explore the nearby beaches of Sanur, Legian and Kuta, which have the most established shops and restaurants on the island. Description Amanusa (which means “peaceful isle” and opened
in 1992) enjoys a commanding position on a garden hillside in southern
Bali just above the Bali Golf and Country Club. Views run from the
adjacent Indian Ocean shoreline to sacred Mount Agung that dominates
the far horizon on a clear day.
The entrance to the lobby is a colonnaded open-air hall lined with baskets of white tuberoses. Framing the foyer is a teak sculpture illustrating scenes from the Ramayana, one of the two great epic poems of India. Room Services Amanusa has 35  thatched-roof suites set behind
foliage and mossy paras stone walls for added privacy and linked
by paved walkways. All the suites have four-poster beds and round
tables for private dining, a sunken indoor bath, outdoor shower,
a garden courtyard and a terrace with a spacious canopied day bed.Deluxe Suites: These suites have extensive views of the golf course or the Ocean. Pool Suites: Eight suites have private swimming pools and a spacious terrace.
